About the conference

The first ever AVOCADO workshop (Analysis of Variations, Optimal Control, and Applications to Design and Operations) will be held at the beautiful Harbourview Function Centre in Newcastle on August 25th and 26th.

Topics

Topics for the workshop include iterative methods for optimization (e.g. Douglas-Rachford), optimal control, mixed integer linear programming (MILPs), convex analysis, operations research.

Registration

Registration is now open through Eventbrite. The workshop is free but you need to register in order to attend. Registrations close on Friday 10th August.

Abstracts

Please e-mail talk titles and abstracts to Scott Lindstrom (Scott.Lindstrom@uon.edu.au), indicating whether you would prefer to give a 20-, 30- or 50-minute talk.

The workshop will be held at the Harbourview Function Centre, 150 Wharf Road, Newcastle.
