Indigenising University Mathematics 3
6-8 November 2024 at La Trobe University & online
"We know mathematics is as old as creation because we find it in our creation stories: first there was no one, then there was one, then there were two, and so on. We know mathematics permeates our life because we find it in our art, our culture, our games, and our ceremonies."
Venue
[UPDATED 31/10!] The conference will be held in the John Scott Meeting House at the Bundoora campus of La Trobe University, located outside Melbourne.
(Note that the building and room have reverted to that first advertised.)
The cultural activities on Wednesday afternoon will be held outdoors in the close-by Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Reserve: https://www.latrobe.edu.au/wildlife
Note: the Zoom link for the online sessions (morning sessions and two afternoon events) will be sent to those holding online or in-person tickets.
